About the Author Dr. C. Maria-Julia Boros has a Doctor of Arts (a unique interdisciplinary program where the author has taken over 70 Ph.D level courses in Literature, History, Theology, Philosophy, and the Arts) from St. John's University in 18th century Literature. Her dissertation focused on Justice Henry fielding and hid influence on law and literature through his novels, journals, and political pamphlets. Her Master's degree thesis concentrated on Henry James, "The Father of the Psychological Novel" and a Psychoanalytical analysis of Isabel Archer, the protagonist of his novel, The Portrait of a Lady (1881). As an undergraduate, Dr. Boors studied at New York University and at St. John's University, where she earned her BA degree, majoring in Literature, History, Theology, and Philosophy. Continuing her education, she has taken graduate courses in Technical Writing at Harvard, literature courses at Yale University, and Arts courses at Oxford University. The author of The Essentials of Business Writing, she has conducted corporate Business Writing seminars, and has taught Business Communication and Business Writing at St. John's University, Tour College, Katharine Gibbs School, graduate Business Writing at Keller Graduate school of Management, and Technical and Professional Writing at NYIT.
