From Library Journal This study, completed by Erlanger after Stover's (political science, Univ. of Colorado) death, argues that law school subtly, and sometimes not so subtly, discourages students from choosing a career in public interest law. This conclusion was based on data gleaned from selected law students at Denver, and Stover's own experience at the college. Until his untimely death at age 44 in 1986, Stover was also a practicing lawyer. This book, an essential addition to sizable legal collections, will be principally of interest to students and teachers of the law.
